Katarina asks Zoom Support: (#135378) An additional question from session 11am-noon Pacific today - we don't see much of D...only G appears in speaker view during the whole session. What a pity... - it is not easy for D to adjust her equipment and there is nothing that I know how to do HOWEVER it is one of our questions for you at Zoom support - do you have ideas on how I as host might change the camera view - perhaps just use the gallery view during and one to one session?

Jeevan at Zoom Support responds: " there might be one issue that can cause the situation, i see all your setting and configuration are correct, so it could be for the person who is joining the meeting, get the participant who are joining to update their zoom client to the latest update, i did check for our backend to further look in to the issue, and one of the reason is the participant who is joining could be on an older version of zoom "

Question: I don't see anything in the thread to indicate how the update should be done, merely that it should be done. Does Zoom updates come on automatically when one logs in? This is how Skype updates. How to update to latest version of Zoom I am now working on the text to describe how people do the upgrade to current version of Zoom. How to update Zoom on a Mac or Windows	Permalink

On a Mac Start Zoom or make it active (zoom.us appears in the upper-left corner of the screen) Click on zoom.us to produce a drop-down list Select Check for Updates... The pop-up window will indicate at the bottom if your version is - up to date or - a new version is available If a new version is available, there is a button to Update now On Windows I googled "check for new version of zoom on windows" and found this useful article https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/201361953-New-Updates-for-Windows The important part of the article is New Updates For Windows There are two download types: Manual: Ad-hoc download with minor enhancements and/or minor bug fixes. Download from the Download Center or when instructed by our Support team. Prompted: Important download with useful feature enhancements and/or critical bug fixes. It will download automatically or prompt the user to download when there is no meeting in-progress.
